Met Dit traditionele landhuis ligt op slechts 3 minuten lopen van de haven van Hydra. Het biedt prachtig ingerichte kamers met uitzicht op Hydra of de zee en warm en gastvrij personeel. On arrival we were welcomed by Nicholas who was extremely friendly and helpful. A great start to our stay. We were on the first floor and the room was a good size, the bed comfy, good wardrobe space, good air con, nice to have windows to open and let the sun in (even through the massive heat wave). The bathroom itself was small but did the job for our 5 night stay. The shower was a bit of a let down - very tight squeeze to get in and shut the doors (and we are average build). If we moved without thinking about this small space, we accidentally nudged the tap off or to the hot or cold side. Had to be super careful in that respect. The free breakfast was out of this world amazing, tasty, different every day, home cooked/made, abundant (got us through to the afternoon!). We looked forward to it every morning and ate 90 to 100% of it. Jenni was an amazing hostess who presented us with this breakfast daily and she tolerated my “5 to 6 cup coffee” husband with delightful dry humour! She always had a funny comment to make. Loved her! One of the house maids was super friendly and greeted us every time we saw her - sorry I didn’t get her name! Unlucky for us it was a heat wave the whole 5 days there so going back and forth from the city centre was quite the trek for this unfit oldish woman, but I achieved it 4 or 5 times a day, albeit puffed on arrival. On a cooler day it would be very pleasant. A thousand thank you’s Jenni, Nicholas and friendly housemaid - you made our stay in Hydra magical. Angelica Traditional Boutique Hotel is gevestigd in een historisch gebouw in het hart van Hydra en beschikt over charmante accommodatie. De verblijven zijn uitgerust met een bubbelbad of een douche. Perfect in all senses. Kind, helpful and professional family management. Thank you.

Douskos Guesthouse ligt op het autovrije eiland Hydra, op 100 meter van het landhuis George Kountouriotis en op 30 minuten van de haven van Hydra. De kamer was super ruim, schoon en comfortabel. Het hotel is 5 minuten lopen vanaf de haven ipv 30 minuten (dat stond in hun eigen beschrijving), dus dat was een meevaller. De locatie is echt helemaal top, zit middenin het centrum dichtbij restaurantjes, supermarkt en bakkers. Ook was het personeel heel vriendelijk.

Het Delfini Hotel wordt beheerd door een familie en ligt direct aan de pittoreske haven in Hydra. Dit hotel biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de zee en de schilderachtige stad. U vindt hier ook een bar. Heel aardig ontvangst! Een lief familiehotel met goede ligging direct bij aankomst vd boot in de haven. Het hotel heeft een mooi balkon met prachtig uitzicht over de haven van Hydra.

Het traditioneel gebouwde Achilleas Pension ligt op slechts 150 meter van de haven van Hydra en het rotsachtige strand Spilia. Dicht bij de haven. Lekker dakterras en ook een mooie binnenplaatsen. Hydra is een prachtig eiland om te voet te verkennen.
