Het Slieve Russell Hotel ligt op een terrein met een oppervlakte van ruim 121 hectare. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

Het 18e-eeuwse kasteel Cabra Castle Hotel is zeer rustig gelegen en kijkt uit over een uitgestrekt terrein en het prachtige platteland. Tegenwoordig is het een viersterrenhotel. This property really opens the doors to yesterdays world, I love the way you can sit in the royal rooms and experience the castle as if you were a resident there, it’s truly a unique experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for romantic weekend away.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. Wonderful staff, fab dinner at Maxwell's (salmon en croute was the star!), delicious G&Ts beforehand made from Farnham estate gin, and a very comfortable & quiet room. Wish I'd had time to use the beautiful spa!

Crover House Hotel & Golf Club ligt aan de noordoostelijke oever van het meer Lough Sheelin, tussen Cavan en Ballyjamesduff. Hotel staff has been very kind to us. The room was clean and everything was as expected. We enjoyed our breakfast.

Dungimmon House is gelegen in Ballyconnell, op 7,4 km van Drumlane Abbey, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. Breakfast was moderately priced, generous and yummy!

As usual, if you rent a car it is great to be on the edge of a town/city. Free parking. Quiet area. Nice to walk around, etc.
