In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. Location was great close to the town and river. Breakfast was fab and the bread was delicious. The room was just lovely.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Lesley was wonderful at the reception. The hotel restaurant was the best meal in our two week holiday.

Overlooking 10 acres of town park, Annebrook House Hotel is located in the centre of Mullingar. The breakfast was good. The location was central. There was lot of space.

Το New Forest Golf Club Apartments προσφέρει πολυτελή καταλύματα στο Higginstown, County Westmeath. Excellent location to go to the Ploughing Match in Ratheniska Co. Laois. The 2 bedroom townhouse was excellent. Large property with really big rooms. We had a large king-size bed in one bedroom and the other room had 3 single beds so ideal for me and my husband and 3 kids. Large kitchen with dining table and sofa bed. Really large living room with lovely view over golf course. Each bedroom had an ensuite which was brilliant. The whole house was so clean and had everything you could think of. We didn't arrive until 8.45pm on the first night and the guy at reception was lovely and so accommodating. On checkout we met a lovely man and woman who were so nice also! A great stay would highly recommend and would book again if we are planning to be in that area.
