One of the most picturesque places we’ve visited in India. The perfect spot to fully recharge after a few weeks of travel. Room was comfortable, hosts were very helpful and breakfast and dinner were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed staying away from the busy city where we could sit outside reading our books in the sunshine listening to the birds. Bliss!

The homestay is perfect - simple, clean and great location. Breakfast was delicious, and the family is kind and friendly. Met many foreigners staying in 4 star and 5 star hotels nearby. What a waste of cash. Stay here instead. Will stay again.

Amazingly beautiful view from the balcony. The room is clean. Good food. But the main value of this place is the people, manager and his team! We were met and dropped to the hotel and back to the bus station the next day. Despite on the late check-in they cooked delicious dinner for us. They made our stay unforgettable. Definitely want to come back.

Το Marvel Cruise βρίσκεται στο τέλμα του Alleppey. Η παραλία Alleppey απέχει 6χλμ. από το κατάλυμα. Το κατάλυμα διαθέτει κλιματισμό. Το ιδιωτικό μπάνιο περιλαμβάνει ντους. The cruise was perfect. Rooms were clean, big, and comfortable to stay in. Attached bathrooms were also a plus. The crew interacted with us very nicely. We had a very good time.

Το Fort Bungalow βρίσκεται στο Cochin. Παρέχεται δωρεάν Wi-Fi. Η διάσημη παραλία Fort Cochin απέχει μόλις 500μ. από το κατάλυμα. This place has its own aesthetic and each corner of the place is a candy for the eye. Too beautiful and it is maintained very well. Love the open space concept at the centre where there’s direct sunlight and plants surrounding in the middle of the bungalow.

Το Backwater Breeze έχει μπαλκόνι και προσφέρει θέα στο ποτάμι. Είναι σε Kumarakom σε Κεράλα. Perfect place to escape busy and crowded city and enjoy quiet village atmosphere. Paradise for birdwatchers. Breakfast was good, and there are two restaurants nearby. I would recommend the nearest one (Lake N Cruise). The food is simple and cheap, and it's a perfect spot to enjoy magic sunsets at 6 pm. It is also easy to reach Kumarakom center and bird sanctuary (tuk-tuk 150 rupees one way). Early morning backwater boat ride for three hours though small canals was something special. And many thanks for sincere hospitality to the hosts, who were super friendly and helpful. Overall 10+!

Marari Beach Resort offers a sea-side village experience. Located 9.7 km from Alleppey and 14.5 km from Kumarakom, it has an outdoor pool while beachside dining is available. Everything.... Especially the peace and quiet!

Το Spice Village θυμίζει παραδοσιακό χωριό φυλών και προσφέρει εξοχικές κατοικίες με ψάθινη οροφή και μίνι μπαρ. Spice Village's location not far from Periyar Tiger Reserve is perfect for a CHG property experience. The entire property embraced the nature and culture of its environment. The cottage was beautiful especially the bright and spacious bathroom.There were many interesting activites to occupy one within the resort itself. I enjoyed the lowland cycling trip with one of their naturalist Ashley which allowed me to see the crops and birds in the Tamil Nadu lowlands aptly timed near sunset so there were more birds sightings. The naturalist's talk in the charming Tiger Club gave further knowledge about the environment of Thekkady. The 1.5 hr walk around the resort is a must as interesting plants, animals and environmental effort of the resort are pointed out. I happened to get Ashley for all the activites and he was friendly and knowledgable. Buffet breakfast was good but dinner at the 50 miles restaurant was the highlight. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked but the millet was even better as it surprised me that such simple grains can be done so well. I asked for a 2nd helping. The ayurvedic experience was excellent as well. Although it rained the evening I arrived and my night walk at Periyar Tiger Reserve was cancelled but the entire trip was not a disappointment at all due to the wonderful expereinces at Spice Village. The best part was I spotted the Malabar giant squirrel just outside my hut and the Nilgiri Langur while having breakfast without even having to step out of the resort.
