Lovely, home-y vibes - the rooms were very spacious and clean, you could see that a lot of care was put into making sure everything was taken care of for the guests. You can also order home cooked food, you just need to give advance notice. The garden blooms from July so we missed the fresh veggies, but it was wonderful seeing the greens start to sprout. There is a bit of noise from the road, but otherwise peaceful.

Thangkop House is a typical traditional Ladakhi guesthouse with basic but clean rooms. A great plus was the hot water supply which was very reliable. There's also a small green garden area where you can sit and relax. What I liked most was the nice atmosphere at breakfast when travellers from all over the world sat together and shared their stories. The owner of the guesthouse, Dolma, is an extremely kind and helpful person, and she can tell you much about Ladakhi culture and society if you are interested.

Highly recommend a stay at Kazdar Villa. The place is well-kept and pastoral with a view of the mountains. The room is of a high standard, very clean and comfortable. And most of all, the hosts jigment and the family are so kind and lovely help in everything and give a amazing feeling of home♥️

We had a great stay at lehostel! The staff were so lovely and friendly, the whole atmosphere was relaxed and casual. We arrived in winter, so the pipes are frozen in most places in Leh but the staff was on top of it! I can totally recommend this place. If you’re lucky, you might make some lovely new friends:)
