This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. The hotel was super good. Clean room,comfortable, super beautiful.

We loved the breakfast the food was so delicious and the view of the breakfast area. The rooms were so cozy, warm and had tons of space and located in a great area to watch the Northern Lights and take pictures. Plenty of parking space for the rooms.

Το Skútustadir Guesthouse βρίσκεται σε ένα αγρόκτημα στη νότια όχθη της Λίμνης Mývatn και προσφέρει κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα/lounge και θέα στο βουνό. The breakfast was a typical Icelandic breakfast. They had little extras though like homemade rhubarb and orange lemon jam. Also they had a tea that was made from a herb that is found around there.

Set on a farm next to Lake Mývatn, this guest house offers self-catering rooms and cottages with free WiFi and nature views. The geothermally heated Mývatn Nature Baths are a 10-minute drive away. Lovely little room that gave us a perfect view of the northern lights in the evening. We were also very excited to greet the floofy dog on the property when we went over for breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was very good, and I was very excited they had a waffle maker!

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. Very cozy and beautiful location. Perfect place to wind down and enjoy nature. Comfortable facilities. Breakfast was great, we loved the waffle machine.

Room was massive with nice furniture too. View of the lake craters was amazing and the sun streaming through the window in the morning gave a false sense of how warm it was compared to the freezing day outside. Breakfast offered dozens of options and the restaurant had a dozen options too.
