Thanks to Laura the owner of the hotel for a great stay in cozy and comfortable hotel. It's located in a picturesque green place on top of a hill. Given the location of the hotel, a car is desirable, especially since a car gives you the opportunity to visit various beautiful beaches, of which there are many on the island.

Residence Reale is set on Reale Bay, 200 metres from the nearest beach and 2 km outside Porto Azzurro. It offers outdoor pools for adults and children, a playground and free parking.

The residence has 2 buildings, each with 2 floors. Each apartment features a furnished balcony, TV and a kitchenette. Some have sea views. The residence is a good deal in Porto Azurro. We stayed there for 4 nights in June, and we had an apartment with the sea view. 15 min distance from Porto Azurro Centre by car. Clean towels. Bar is available inside the residence complex. Great swimming pool for adults and kids. Free parking is available. Easy to reach the closest beach downstairs from the residence. Recommended!

The Acquamarina hotel features air-conditioned rooms with minibar and satellite TV. Some have a balcony or terrace overlooking the sea. Very beautiful setting, a few steps away from a picture perfect beach. The pebbles are smooth and even without swim shoes manageable with added benefit of no sand everywhere. The hotel provides beach towels and on the large balconies (first floor) there is an outside drying rack, recliners and a tabled for breakfast with an absolute stunning view of the Mediterranean. The owners and staff are really welcoming and everything is clean (even the heavily used coffee machine is like new.. remember, this is Italy and they love coffee). The rooms are not particularly big, but with a smart layout. The best is the bathroom; the shower doors fold smartly out of their way giving you a lot of space + the entrance door is of equally genius design (double fold). All is in very good condition and around the sink etc enough room for all of what the ladies need to make themselves look even better. So make sure to have the sea view room and hear the soft noises of the waves breaking and wander off into your dreams. After waking up, you can enjoy an elaborate breakfast in the breakfast area with a particularly interesting floor tile. Private parking is plenty (Elba being a petite island has evidently a shortage of parking). The hotel is easy to reach if you take the road from Portoferraio that follows the coastline. We walked along that road to the town and max 15min downhill and 5min more uphill, excellent for digestion after having had dinner in town. I’ve read remarks on the WIFI: not true, we were there with our teenage daughter whose phone is part of their live. No issues with safety, nothing went missing.

The Ottone's wellness centre offers a wide variety of beauty treatments. There is also a gym, hammam and relaxation area. The staff was so nice! The hotel has so much character and the place is very authentic. Great place for families with you g children. One of the most beautiful places we have been. We will definitely come back!

Hotel Plaza's 100m² spa offers various beauty and wellness treatments. It includes a Turkish bath, sauna, and a small heated pool with hydromassage areas. A relaxation area with herbal teas is also available at the spa. Lovely hotel and staff. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Rooms come with a TV. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and shower. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer. Hotel Punto Verde was in a perfect location! It was close to the beach and a short walk to restaurants. They served a beautiful breakfast with many options. The room was clean and decorated in a unique and “beachy” way. It had a nice terrace with a table and chairs. The best part of the hotel,however, was the staff! They went above and beyond to be helpful and to make the stay comfortable one. Well done, Hotel Punto Verde!
