Sergio the owner was very responsive,friendly and helpful. My husband and I ended up extending another night. Highly recommended if you are seeking a quiet stay outside the city with plenty of nature around you.

Hotel Anticos Palathos is located in an ancient palace in the central square of Orosei. It is on the east coast of Sardinia, close to the Bidderosa Oasis. The nearby beaches stretch for more than 20 km. Fantastic staff and hospitality. Very prompt and helpful communication in advance of our stay. Lots of great advice about local sightseeing, wining and dining during our visit. Check-in and check-out were completely painless. Breakfast was 5-star in quality with a very broad assortment of sweet and savoury items. Again, all service staff were absolutely pleasant and wonderful. The location was amazing—close to everything we needed, from beautiful beaches to local shops and restaurants. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. Having spent the day hiking, I was desperate for food, shower etc and this establishment was AMAZING. Even though the kitchen was closed, I had a terrific antipasta tray of cooked veg, cheese, bread and even a desert was provided. How my body needed that pool !!!. After the pool and the shower, I crawled into bed with a kindle and my body began to recover from the hike. In particular , I loved to dogs. One dog loved paying 'fetch' with a stick (Bonnie - a sheep dog).
