The little private onsen is nice, and the famous onsens of Matsuyama are within walking distance, and we got great recommendations for restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Featuring a hot spring bath with views of the mountains, Chaharu is located a 2-minute walk from the Dogo Onsen Honkan Hot Springs Spa. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The night view from our room and from the outdoor bath was spectacular. We forgot two items at the hotel, and the staff looked diligently to find them and mail them to us. There were no non-smoking rooms to reserve, but the staff had made sure that there was no odor in our room. The shuttle service was exceptional.
