The room was out of this world, and the Onsen was definitely bigger than expected, we did fit in 2 people inside and im 1.87m Yuko made our experience unique and super welcoming, she made us feel at home, arigato gozaimaishita Yuko! 🙇🙇🙇 Don't eat before dinner, cause it's a lot of food!! The view on the river/mountain was the cherry on top Oh and the beds, so comfortable! Absolutely worth every Yen!

Opened in 1878, The Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. The buildings were gorgeous and we loved the history around them. The landscaping around was also exceptional, with waterfalls and foliage.

The hotel is a gem in a quiet corner of Kamakura. Close to a beautiful beach, close to shopping and attractions. The staff are carrying and attentive. Of all the hotels we stayed in this was our favorite.
