From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and were very flexible with arrivaltime. They went above and beyond to accommodate our special dietary needs, showing exceptional care and effort. Their kindness and high level of service made our stay special - thanks! The onsens were a highlight—especially the outdoor ones. The variety of both private and shared baths allowed us to enjoy peaceful, relaxing moments in beautiful surroundings. As it's a smaller ryokan, the atmosphere was intimate and personal, which made our experience more unique. We stayed for two nights, and the ryokan surprised us with two different dining experiences in two separate rooms. It was a fun and memorable touch—and the food was excellent on both nights, beautifully presented with great attention to detail. We highly recommend Ryokan Yamanoyu and would love to return one day. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Het Okyakuya is gebouwd in 1722 en ligt in de historische wijk Kurokawa Onsen. Het ligt op slechts 100 m van Kurokawa Onsen en biedt gratis WiFi en privéparkeergelegenheid. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, our waitress for our dinner was very fun to converse with, along with everyone else we spoke with. The dinner was very well made, the facilities were beautiful, and our rooms were everything we could’ve asked for. The location is also excellent in the middle of everything, allowing for an easy walk around Kurokawa.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. The stay in the Kurokawa Onsen exceeded our expectations. We spent amazing 18 hours in the onsen. We had specious room with private onsen. We could also use the other onsens in the resort privately. Dinner was served in a private room. The serving, taste, presentation was of the level of Michelin restaurant. The staff pays attention of every detail. Definitely worth recommendation. We loved it!

Het Ryokan Wakaba heeft ruime warmwaterbronnen binnen en buiten en wordt omgeven door weelderig groen. Het biedt accommodatie in Japanse stijl in de rustige bergen. Vanaf check-in tot check-uit, alles was perfect. De locatie was prachtig, de lobby erg mooi, de kamer voorzien van alle gemakken en de omgeving was prachtig! De absolute vriendelijkheid van het personeel was fenomenaal en ze spraken allemaal Engels. Het eten was on-point, zowel dinner als ontbijt liet de smaak van de chef zien en de onsen waren schoon en heerlijk warm. Er was zelfs valet parking! Voor de prijs die ik heb betaald zou ik het meteen weer doen. Duizendmaal dank!

Shinwaen biedt charmante accommodatie in Japanse stijl en beschikt over warmwaterbronnen omgeven door prachtige tuinen. Er worden royale maaltijden geserveerd in de kamers. A nice, friendly, delicious, elegant hotel.

Kurokawa Onsen Ryokan Ichinoi ligt op slechts 5 minuten lopen van het centrum van de warmwaterbronwijk Kurokawa en biedt accommodatie in Japanse stijl met Japanse Yukata-gewaden. There are indoor and outdoor hot baths. The onsen has a transport service from bus stop to onsen.

Het Ryokan Ayu no Sato is opgericht in 1941 en gerenoveerd in 2005. The interior space is very welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were excellent (good value). The staff was extremely friendly and warm. The location is nearby downtown area and Hitoyoshi station.
