Surrounded by lush greenery, Mampei Hotel offers free WiFi and free on-site private parking. JR Karuizawa Station is a 10-minute drive from this non-smoking accommodation. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They always offered help whenever needed.

The couple, that were from the village, were very helpful about all the different information to spend a nice stay in the area. They helped me to get on the right bus to all the nice trekking to.do in the mountains. The breakfast was simple but good and they gave me the energy to start my day. I will definitely recommend the place. See you soon.

Το Koya Backpackers βρίσκεται σε Karuizawa, σε απόσταση 20 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Honmachi Machiyakan και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge... It’s a 100 year old property run by a friendly couple. I visited during the autumn season and the property was cozy with nice views of the fall foliage in their garden. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and also suggested local sights/ hikes. I ordered breakfast and dinner it was delicious and healthy and they gladly accommodated my vegetarian request. There’s also 2 great onsens located around 12 minutes away by walk. I would stay here again when I come to Karuizawa!

Our stay at Raicho was just fantastic, thanks to the super friendly and professional staff members and the increadible cozy guest house (the fire place was just soo relaxing). The staff was highly attentive and booked dinner reservations, shuttled us to the dinner places or also bus stops and was always on top of what we were planning to do (e.g. when we planned to rent out mountain bikes, the staff already had prepared everything in the morning on the day we went for the ride). Many thanks to the whole Raicho team making our 3 night stay a highlight of our Japan trip!

Το ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B είναι σε Chino και προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi. Επίσης, προσφέρει κήπο, βεράντα και μπαρ. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Το B&B Hotel Hyochoan άνοιξε τον Αύγουστο του 2012 και προσφέρει απλά καταλύματα δυτικού στιλ. The host was very nice, they gave us welcoming drink. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very quiet, nice, clean and tidy. Couldnt be happier, they even gave us a receipt of our stay in a postcard format. The breakfast was sooo good, the lounge was in such a nice atmosphere, it was snowing outside, they offered tea, coffee, some starters then steamed eggs with cod fish and rice. Then wrapped up with yogurt and fruit platter.

Exceptional accomodation offering comfort and exquisite cuisine right next to Togakushi Houkosha Shrine. The Hostess greeted us and gave us a tour of the expansive ryokan. Our tatami room was wide with a beautiful view of the yard. Our sumptuous dinner was beautifully presented in a dining room, there were 5 exquisite courses from fresh and delicious ingredients. Breakfast was wonderful as well. We had a wonderful and restful sleep on the tatami as rain drizzled throughout the night. The hostess gave us an early farewell as she had to attend a hospital appointment for her husband’s diagnosis. We wish her and her family well, and appreciation for their wonderful hospitality and exceptional meals. Highly recommended stay in Togakushi!

You can choose a colorful yukata to wear, wooden clogs or rubber slippers, and go across different onsens in town. A unique experience! Homemade Japanese style breakfast was fantastic.

Το Suminoyu βρίσκεται στην περιοχή με τις ιαματικές πηγές Shibu και προσφέρει εσωτερικά και εξωτερικά ιαματικά λουτρά. 5 stars, 5 stars, 5 stars!! This was our first time in a Ryokan/Onsen and this was more than what we expected. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. We can't wait to recommend Suminoyu to everyone. Thanks for making a memorable honeymoon.

Το Yasuragi είναι ένα μικρό πανδοχείο 6 δωματίων με γεύματα Ryokan και άνετους εσωτερικούς χώρους. This onsen hotel is a pearl if u like traditional Japanese style stay, and we enjoyed the most. It's spotless clean and cosy. The private onsen room is huge. And the dinner is way out of our expectation.(please do have dinner here)!
