We booked two nights and we were delightfully surprised to find that both the dinner and breakfast menus were varied. The wait staff and chefs paced the meal to our habits, and as English-speaking guests we never were challenged in communications.

It is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The ambient, design are beautiful and the services are friendly. The dedicated theme park access gate and next to Lawson convenient store is a plus point for the stay.

Hotel Monterey Nagasaki is a 2-minute walk from the Oura Kaigan Dori Tram Stop. We loved history of the Portuguese era and the location was amazing, walking distance to most attractions. Nagasaki is our favorite place on this visit, and would recommend it and the hotel

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Saikaibashi in Sasebo has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The onsen was wonderful, beautiful, clean and well attended. Breakfast and dinner buffets were great with so many great choices and excellent presentation. The hotel staff was accommodating and explained things that were unfamiliar to us. The hotel itself has a beautiful location and is well maintained.

I really enjoyed my time here! The views are so much more beautiful in person especially during sunset and sunrise. The room was very spacious for me as a solo traveler and it had a private toilet as well. The facility is very clean and they had free bikes to use during the stay which I really loved. The staff was friendly too. Very easy to get here from Nagasaki station. Definitely a highlight of my trip and I will for sure be returning next time!

We stayed here on a friend's recommendation and the hotel was every bit as nice as we had expected. It is on Mount Inasa with a wonderful view down over Nagasaki harbour. There is a regular free hotel shuttle bus to Nagasaki Station - all day at weekends, there is a gap early afternoon on weekdays. Last bus timetabled 20:55 but once left a few minutes early. The breakfast is served on the top floor - amazing views and a good selection of Japanese and western style food. Our room and bathroom were very clean and the beds comfortable. Do ask for a room with sea view. There is a coffee lounge where you can sit and have free tea and coffee during the day - as well as having a fridge and kettle etc in your room. Comfortable sofa (can convert to a bed if a family staying) and desk and chair. Twin "single" beds were actually double bed sized. The hotel lobby is amazing! Lunch at Dejima museum ( the island which the Dutch historically traded from) was delicious - and the museum interesting. Glover park was beautiful day and night - with great views. The atomic bomb museum and Peace park are essential to visit.
