Iseya, Seaview Private Oceanside Bath bevindt zich in Unzen, op 44 km van Geschiedenismuseum van Nagasaki, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren en een restaurant. Everything was above and beyond. The staff was particularly lively and helpful, even for Japanese standards! (which is saying a lot since they're generally very nice!). All the details were very thoughtfully prepared. The food was exquisite! Hard to believe it was all included, since the food alone could have been worth at least $100 in any gourmet restaurant at a big city. The flavors were indeed more than just traditional Japanese and went along with the mixture of influences that Nagasaki is known for. Every dish was explained by the friendly staff, who are evidently very passionate about their craft. The design of the rooms and the hotel are aesthetically and experientially magical. We enjoyed the private onsen in front of the beautiful seaview. They also have a public onsen! The hotel is 3 minutes away (walking) from the Obama Onsen Bus Stop, which is where any bus will drop you off from either Nagasaki or Isahaya Station, so even that comes in handy. 10/10

Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan features a 1,650-square-meter Japanese garden, natural hot spring baths, free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar, cafe, souvenir shop and an exclusive lounge for... Spacious table-seating in the dining room, all tables having a view of the garden (really a park-like setting) and a menu that deserves an international rating at the highest levels, and that applies to both dinner (the landscape outside the glass wall is softly illuminated) and breakfast that offers Western coffee selections and the best of Japanese tea. We booked two nights and we were delightfully surprised to find that both the dinner and breakfast menus were varied. The wait staff and chefs paced the meal to our habits, and as English-speaking guests we never were challenged in communications.

Park side room actually have a splendid View which make us feel living in an European Palace. Room is very spacious.The chairs are comfortable and relaxing. I am very surprised to receive Beauty packs.

Hotel Monterey Nagasaki bevindt zich op 2 minuten lopen van de tramhalte Oura Kaigan Dori. In de architectuur en het interieur van het hotel vindt u Portugese elementen terug. Eigenlijk was alles perfect, de kamer, de locatie, het ontbijt. Echt een aanrader.

Inasayama, Luke Plaza Hotel is beautiful with stunning views of Nagasaki city. A delicious buffet breakfast and there's a superb teppanyaki restaurant. The shuttle bus to Nagasaki station, sightseeing was convenient.

Inasayama is a major tourist attraction in Nagasaki. The hotel is located on the mountain and offers a grand view of Nagasaki Harbor and wharf especially at night. The staff are great, helpful and very polite. The facilities offer gorgeous views, several large baths (not onsen hot springs, but similar) a couple restaurant choices and a bar. Of course all the usual amenities are available. It's not the most modern hotel, but that's what gives it character. It was a fantastic choice for our last night in Nagasaki on this trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would book it again.

Just 500 metres from the city centre, Quintessa hotel Sasebo offers modern air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi access. The hotel was perfectly located and the comfort and cleanliness of the facilities were only exceeded by the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff.

Situated within Huis Ten Bosch Theme Park, the classically European Hotel Den Haag boasts views of Omura Bay, 2 restaurants and a bar. The spacious rooms have free WiFi and wired internet access. I thought at first the location is pretty far from everything but it's quite perfect. I booked the night of the Lunar New Year fireworks but planned to catch it inside the Huis Ten Bosch park instead of the paid seats in front of the hotel. There is luggage service and shuttle in front of the Welcome area of the park, I was able to drop off my bags and enjoy the park while waiting for check in. There are multiple shuttles around the park that drops people off right at the hotel lobby so that is convenient when you want a rest. The room is quited dated and a bit dusty, and the restaurant is pricey. There is a convenience store just a few meters from the hotel so I got my supplies there. After the fireworks show, it was a leisurely walk from the park through the pier and to the hotel, pretty well lit and safe eventhough I was alone and it was late. The next day, they delivered my luggages after check out to a Yamato shop right outside the exit of the park while I still enjoyed my 2nd day of exploring. There is also a bus ticket station where I purchased my bus ride to Nagasaki. It was a seamless transit for me, from Fukuoka to Huis Ten Bosch to Nagasaki.
