Kannawaen is an entirely non-smoking accommodation that features a garden, terrace and bar in Beppu. 100 metres from Hells of Beppu, the property is also 500 metres away from Jigokumushikobo Kannawa. The hospitality and all the attention from the staff was awesome. The food was excellent, exceeding our expectations. The room was very clean and the amenities were fabulous. The price of the drinks and goods was very fair.

Yunohira Kamiyanagiya is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Yunohira Onsen in Yufu, en bevindt zich op 16 km van Kinrinko Meer, 33 km van station Oita en 37 km van station Beppu. Best experience of our lives! The food was the best food we have ever eaten and the staff and service were superb! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you’re in Japan and want a truly authentic experience stay here.

AMANE resort GAHAMA bevindt zich in Beppu, op 24 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. We booked the premium room with tatami area. Our room was really spacious and clean. I really liked how there was a private garden in our room—really peaceful and lovely. When we entered the room, we were met with the living room, with a view of the garden where you can spend time on the veranda! There’s also a mini kitchen with cutleries! The dressing room, restroom, bathroom, and the best of them all the PRIVATE ONSEN were separated. (All of the rooms were really big!) There were two bedrooms—one in the tatami room where they laid out the futon for us. I really enjoyed the kaiseki course at their restaurant Matsuhide—each course was carefully crafted and use of local ingredients. And their breakfast was superb! They drove us to the Seikai building—the breakfast buffet had a large variety of Japanese dishes. It was really good too. Sadly, we only booked for a night, so we didn’t get to enjoy their various facilities as much as we’d like (there were the Gahama tower and onsen). Another thing I’d like to mention was the tea ceremony building! Read the history posted in front and was amazed by the historical significance of it!

Ryoso Yufuin Yamadaya is gelegen in Yufu, op 47 km van Oita Bank Dome en 14 minuten lopen van Kinrinko Meer, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. The property was beautiful and very close to the train station so it was easy to walk to. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious 🤤. I’m really happy that I got the chance to stay here

Pension Yufuin is trots op een openbaar warmwaterbronbad met grote rotsen, dat uniek is in Oita. Het biedt ook een tuin, een terras en gratis WiFi in de lobby. An unbelievably helpful host and a beautiful location in lovely Yufuin made this one of the most memorable places that we stayed at in Japan. Highly recommended!

Boasting and classic Japanese ambience, Yufuin Santoukan provides traditional accommodation just a 5-minute drive from JR Yufu Station. Location is perfect. The walking street is 5 minutes away with lots of good food. Dinner at the Ryokan was exceptional. Well-curated by the head chef. No repeat over 3 days.
