The host is supernice, eh gave us a lot of recommendations on the trekking routes for Mount Seorak and also to visit the city of Sokcho and restaurants. The room had plenty of space, and a little kitchen. The place is peaceful and quiet to get a good rest and close enough to the National Park so you can get there soon if you're going hikking. All after having the delicious breakfast the host prepared for us.

Bathrobes, slippers and free amenities are placed in the private bathroom fitted with a rain shower. What a beautiful place to stay! My room (spacious, welcoming, very modern and with a great bathroom) and a balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel is in a magical spot, not in the centre of Sokcho (but I had been there before, I wanted to explore the area) and you can really get an authentic experience with the atmosphere and the food. The convenience store inside the hotel is not a rarity in Korea, but I am still not used to it, I think it's so cool and convenient :) Super recommend if you want to visit the Daepo Port area.

I enjoyed the fact that the pampas was close to the Bus station. Also, very close to the beach! Very , very calm quiet location!

The landlady is VERY kind and gives good recommendations to travelers for activities and hiking in Seoraksan park. She even drove me to the Cheoksan Hot springs ! There is an outside terrace with the river running nearby. You can find restaurants and convenience stores close by.

Yongpyeong Ski Resort is a 15-minute drive while Bokwang Phoenix ski slopes and Gangneung City are each a 45-minute drive away. i like this Hotel and my family really enjoy it!

Intercontinental Alpensia Pyeongchang Resort is situated in Daegwallyeong, a popular getaway spot for those who seek exploring in the mountains. The resort is at the foot of the Alpensia ski slopes and a 15-minute drive from Yongpyong ski slopes. Pretty new Jinbu ktx station, local attractions are not too far and easily reach by taxi. Rooms are huge and lots of space for luggage. Bathroom was great with both bathtub and separate shower.Loved the view facing the ski slopes

KensingtonHotel Seorak is located in Sokcho, less than 200 metres from Seorak National Park. A household name with Korean celebrities, it features free parking and free WiFi.

Daepo Harbour is 13 km away. For relaxation, Osaek Oncheon (hot spring) is an hour’s drive away. We loved the design and all the little details that made it feel like a true British hotel. The view from the bedroom was also lovely. The location was perfect, as it was just a 5 minute walk to the park and the centre of sokcho was also reachable by bus/taxi.
