Someone is there 24/7. Clean. Air conditioning! Breakfast was good. They let us leave our luggage there while we walked around and before we had to catch a train.

I don't know where to start because everything was excellent. I'd have to say that if you are looking for an authentic, welcoming place to stay that feels like you really are somewhere special, this is the place! I will start with a lovely breakfast with fresh ingredients. The room was cozy and the furnishings were rustic and authentic. It has a charm that you will not find anywhere else. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice. The neighborhood was convenient. Just off one of the main roads, so it was quiet. But it was close to the main shopping areas; the central market was only a 5 minute walk. The kasbah was a 15 minute walk. Plenty of shops and nice restaurants around. But what takes the cake is the service, the people. The people who greeted us and made us feel welcome made us feel like we were part of a family. I do not say this about many places I visit. People around the world have been nice, but the family who run Dar Yanis, and the people of Morocco in general, are some of the loveliest people we have ever met. Thank you to the staff who made our first time on the continent of Africa an unforgettable experience. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen for guests. Fatima was super helpful and accommodating, even sent us tips on where to go/eat etc! Beautiful space and comfy rooms, breakfast was also brilliant! Location super central but quiet, we could walk everywhere from the train station to all the main attractions.

Hôtel des Oudaïas is located on the edge of Rabat’s medina in probably the best possible location in Rabat. Although it was a little bit gloomy when we arrived, the view from the rooftop terrace of the hotel was absolutely stunning! (Last 7 pictures.) Nice, clean hotel. Large, nicely designed and decorated rooms. Fantastic location. Andalusian Gardens, Kasbah of the Udayas, Cimitero Al Shouhada, Rabat Beach, the Bou Regreg riverfront and the old medina are all in short walking distance.
