Nobel Hotel Ameland is located in the center of Ballum on Ameland. The modern hotel offers 19 rooms and a church suite that is transformed into 2 apartments. The beach is located within a 20-minute walk. Free parking is possible on site. We liked everything, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, delicious breakfast. I also want to note the little things like delicious sweets on the bed, a book about Ameland, and a gift of liquor upon check-out.

Coffee, tea and biscuits available at no extra charge in a part of the restaurant you can use as a lounge all day (we got into a routine of going for a wet/rainy bike ride, having a bath, then playing a board game in this nice communal space).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is quite close to the beach and accessible. The hotel staff also helps you in getting the bicycles for rent.
