I even got in before 1500. To my surprise I was handed a small renovated townhouse. Very well equipped : kitchen, bath, large sofa, large bed etc. On top I had a small garden attached on the back of the house. Dinner at night served a fine soup and a very tasty fish. They serve wine and beers too. Morning breakfast was all you could ask! And with the host (I guess) serving and supplementing coffee. I even was offered some food for the road (with my bicycle). The location Sogndalstrand is charming, authentic and just near the sea. The hotel owns a number of renovated town houses.

It filled us up just right and prepared us for a day of touring ahead.

This waterfront hotel is situated in a Victorian-style building, dating back 1900. Hotel Victoria is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Stavanger Train Station. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and nice views over Vågen Bay. The team is amazing! Very nice hotel, we loved it.

Stavanger city centre is a 5-minute drive away. One of the best hotel experience, very friendly staff which tried to managed everything we asked about.

Free tea/coffee is available in the lobby. During the summer, children can enjoy on-site activities and a playground. Very clean room with sofa bed prepared for the kid. Enough space for three. Nice bathroom. Comfortable beds, good breakfast, great location. Parking near by. No noise from the street.

Stavanger Old Town is 250 metres away. A very centric and clean spot. All the staff is kind and helpful. The restaurant for dinner is very tasty. Even though I just stayed one night , I definitely recommend , I tried the lovely sauna with lake view and the gym. The night view is great. About 30 mins to the preikestolen park, reason why we stayed here. You can also walk to the downtown and get a coffee or try any ot the various restaurants.a few staff speak Spanish also. The buffet restaurant is nice, but what I like the must was the smoked salmon.

Very nice that you can use them without any extra charge.
