It is situated 400 metres from Patan Durbar Square and provides luggage storage space. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Mr. Pradeep and family welcomed me with a warm smile when I reached the property. I immediately felt at home. It’s a beautiful traditional Nepali house just 3 minutes from Patan Durbar square for anybody who likes to experience this unique place. Equipped with fridge, kettle, water, fresh towels, slippers etc. it’s a traditional house so do not expect huge luxurious bathrooms but it is clean and small. The hearty breakfast served by the host and conversations are priceless. I stayed here for 2 days and had the best time. I highly recommend to anybody interested in unique traditional stay experience.

Amazing. Rooms, service, food. We had junior suite, the smell in the room, huge space, bathtube, bed… awesome!

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The Tibetan-style house has 64 cosy bedrooms, an in house restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free in its public areas. I could book the room with 50% reduction so it was very good value for money, I really appreciated the heating function that was possible through the AC system, the kettle to make tea in the room, the cosy interior design and the helpfulness of the staff.

Located within 4.4 km of Hanuman Dhoka and 5 km of Kathmandu Durbar Square, The Museum provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kathmandu. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation features full-day security, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. We had a great stay at The Museum during a return trip to Kathmandu. Saroj and Prakash were courteous and helpful from start to finish. They arranged airport pick up and took care of our every need during our 16 night stay. It was like staying with family, relaxed and homey. Our room had all the facilities we needed including a small kitchen, large water bottle (good to avoid lots of smaller plastic bottles) and a very comfortable bed. The location was excellent for easily getting around the city. Having Le Sherpa restaurant, Hokkaido Japanese restaurant and a super coffee shop right at our door was also a bonus. Saroj even bought us coffee on our final morning as we packed our bags. Thank you Saroj and Prakash. for such a lovely stay. We felt very cared for and hope to see you next time.

Karma Boutique Hotel features free WiFi, parking and 24 hour front desk. The staff is very friendly. My friend did not realize that he left his bags in the hotel lobby when we headed to the airport. The hotel staff chased the taxi with his motorcycle to deliver the bags to us. We couldn’t thank him more.. The rooms were clean and nice with proper wet/dry area in the bathroom. You don’t see this that often in this type of boutique hotels in Nepal that often. We stayed in Kathmandu 5 nights and only stayed in this hotel one night. I wish I had stayed there more nights.
