The location was great with good cafes within walking distance, and the hosts were wonderful. There was a coffee capsule machine and toiletries as well as chocolate/sweets after room servicing. It was a comfortable, quiet room with good kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Lake Taupo and Tokaanu Thermal Pools are within 5 minutes’ drive from Creel Lodge. The Tongariro National Park’s ski fields and walking trails are 40 minutes’ drive away. We had a lovely stay. We were there two nights for a hike in Turangi. The facilities were wonderful. It was roomy, clean and comfortable. The grounds were amazingly beautiful. Highly recommended.

You will have two queen beds and two single beds in a two-floor room. Kids love playing up and down the stairs, and it was undoubtedly the best stay throughout our North Island trip in NZ. The personal spa jacuzzi in the room was another standout feature of this stay. There is also an on-property playground for the kids. The room was clean, comfortable and complete.
