Absolutely beautiful location set in amazing garden. The room we had, no 4, was good, but you don't want to be inside it. The main point is the large balcony with wonderful views over the garden and surrounding mountains of the crater. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice, some from a buffet and also a menu. The restaurant is also good for the evening which is important if you don't have transport as there is nothing else near. There is a hiking trail nearby which we enjoyed.

Everything just works. Very unusual shower. You should not forget to choose a breakfast, but when I forgot I was able to order in the morning too.

Stunning property and exceptionally clean, wonderful friendly staff who went out of their way to help! Erick at the beach club and Carlos at the restaurant were exceptional! Every person working at Buenaventura felt like a friend and were so kind and I can’t imagine any complaints about this hotel or staff!!! The hotel was very quiet right after the protests, so can’t imagine how difficult it is to deliver such quality when the workers are still working to move back to the area, but every meal was exceptional and every staff member was fantastic. We loved the choice for restaurants, pools, even great room service. The hotel shuttle took us many places and the amenities in the Buenaventura community were wonderful. The zoo was incredible! We expected only a few animals but it had so much! The onsite deli/coffee bar/ grocery and convenience store were great. The food was very reasonably priced. We traveled with a 6 and a 14 year old and will be back!!

Excellent location and very friendly staff

Clean, comfortable cabin, exactly as advertised. Victoria was the perfect host, friendly, available when needed but gave privacy too. Location is nice and central.

Breakfast was satisfactory, views and gardens very lovely and the atmosphere was very pleasant
