The staff was lovely, we felt very welcomed, they also helped us with taxis to go around the island and advised us for restaurants. The room was clean and the ocean view stunning, the breakfast was continental, various things to eat and the food was good quality. We will definitely come back for our next visit. Very close to city center, parking on the street nearby, easy access from all direction by car. Very friendly staf, ready to help. Nice swiming pool. Large room, very clean and confortable. Good breakfast.

Everything - spacious room, huge luxurious bed, bathtub, laundry with washers and dryers, two full kitchens with induction cooktops, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, coffee machines, refrigerators/freezers, great cookware, wine glasses, utensils - everything one needed to prepare and enjoy a relaxing meal. Then there was the view from the dining/lounge room overlooking the bay with Monte de Guia and Ilha do Pico in the background. Each morning we relaxed on the balcony as we had our coffee and listened to the surf gently rolling in. This was all highlighted by the friendly and attentive staff which were there during the daytime hours. Location was perfect with a short walk to the middle of town and the marina. Free street parking (residential area) was available right at the front door. Never an issue.

Laura who welcomed me was specially very nice. And genuinely nice. The bed was comfortable. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. The garden and the views ... Really good. I had the room with private bathroom outside the room. But that was really no issue the bathroom is literally right next to the room. And was designate for my use only. So if you are one who is undecided because of the separate bathroom (as I was), you don't need to worry. It's no real inconvenience. The only regret I had is that I didn't stay there longer. I had booked in another 4 star hotel for other days of my stay and I kid you not....I would have rather been staying at My Angra Charming House the entire time instead of that other hotel.

We were upgraded to Casa do Pateo at no charge. A renovated yet charming bed and breakfast with a great location in the middle of many shops and restaurants. The rooms and the entire house were amazing with attention to every detail and tasteful decor throughout. Great location, breakfast was great with many options

I recently stayed at Aldeia da Cuada on Flores Island, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the reception was warm and kind, making us feel truly welcome. The property itself is enchanting. Our house was one of 16 restored stone cottages, complete with a beautiful private garden offering stunning views of Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro, several breathtaking waterfalls, and the vast ocean. The sunsets from the garden were absolutely magical. We were also charmed by two friendly cats, including one named Alfredo, who greeted us upon arrival and became our evening companions. Their presence added a cozy, homely touch to our stay. The on-site restaurant is exceptional, showcasing the unique flavors of Flores with dishes crafted from fresh, local ingredients. Given the limited dining options on the island, this was a fantastic and convenient feature of Aldeia da Cuada. Another highlight of this location is its proximity to all the main attractions of Flores. Whether exploring waterfalls, hiking trails, or soaking in the island’s natural beauty, everything was just a short drive away. Aldeia da Cuada is more than just a place to stay; it’s a peaceful retreat that captures the heart and spirit of Flores. Highly recommended!
