Jukkasjärvi
The on-site IceHotel restaurant serves traditional dishes with locally produced ingredients. Guests can relax with hot drinks and snacks in the warm lounge, or enjoy cocktails served in glasses made out of ice in the below-freezing Icebar. We stayed in a warm room that had everything that we needed. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and had a good spread. We could book dog sledding through hotel's website, which was excellent - we had an experience of lifetime.
Abisko
Rooms at Abisko Mountain Lodge include free WiFi and a private bathroom with shower. Cottages feature a kitchenette and private toilet. The shared shower facilities are located in the sauna and relaxation area, 30 metres from the cottages. Location,Excellent Staff, cabin cleanliness and aurora spectacle on 21 Dec :-)
Kiruna
Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. It offers free WiFi, in-room flat-screen TVs and traditional, seasonal Swedish and Sami food. Parking is free on site. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment! The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location. We were lucky enough to witness the aurora borealis for the first time here, which made our experience even more special. The place offers a wide variety of tours and activities, making it easy to explore the surroundings. Breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff was incredibly kind and professional. We did have one issue—due to a mistake on Booking.com’s end, our spa reservation was canceled without our knowledge. This is something that should be improved, as the issue could have been resolved before it became a problem. However, the staff handled it in the best possible way. They compensated us with free cross-country ski rentals, complimentary souvenirs, and snacks, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The agent on duty at the time was extremely polite and helpful, turning an unfortunate situation into a positive experience that actually enhanced our trip. Because of the exceptional service and the overall experience, we will definitely return and book the same apartment again. Highly recommended!
Kurravaara
Surrounded by forest, Aurora Camp Kurravaara is right by the Torne River, 13 km from Kiruna Airport. Facilities include a sauna and a furnished terrace. Limited WiFi is available and parking is free of charge. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Main disclaimer is you absolutely need a car to stay here. If you are not renting a car, stay closer to town. We had a car and intentionally booked a place outside of town that would give us greater visibility of the aurora. The location of this property is unlike any other. You can go on hikes to see the lights at all hours of the night and you get 360 degree views of the sky if you walk out onto the lake. The wilderness left cabin was equipped with everything we could ever need. Warm, comfortable beds, great shower facility and best of all was our private sauna. The staff was extremely helpful when we struggled making a fire for the sauna. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return someday!

Wonderfull, just renovated large cottage with kitchen facilities. Unbelievable free visit to the ice hotel, definitely recommend! Short walking distance to grocery store, Sami museum and beautiful small church. Relaxing sauna and swimming. Great breakfast!
The saunas are great, very good quality and very hot. The steak restaurant was lovely too
Location within the park. Great facilities, lovely people working there. Very delicious food.
My girlfriend and I had the lovely opportunity to spend a night in the north at this magical place after our trek in Abisko. It's exactly beside the river. The front door with the open glas gives so much light to the room. Evan if it was raining when we were there. Felt like a fantasy tale. Jenny & Marc are fantastic hosts. They had some chickens walking around that made it so much more alive. Definitely recommend it and will book it again when we come back again for another Trek.
Pick up/ Transfers were excellent. The Glass Igloos were located on the water front, with good views of the sky for Aurora viewing. The igloo was cosy and clean, with everything we needed. The guest lounge was also a wonderful addition, with more space if you want to relax or socialise, as well as games, an extra kitchen and good showers. Breakfast included was great. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Wonderful relaxation areas with great history, artwork and historical yearbooks about the tourist organisation. Lovely staff and very good advice and help from guides. We joined a guide led ski tour and stayed an extra night to do that - it was brilliant.
