I've stayed in many hotels (from top to bottom of the spectrum) in my many years of traveling, and none, i can recall, exceeded their's for quality and diversity of offerings. Jani with his sense of humor and willingness to go the extra mile along with his wife's attention to detail, made for a memorable stay. Sometimes one gets lucky. This was one of those times.

Our stay at the Old Parish House was great! Even though it's next to a church, it wasn't loud, we could sleep and enjoy our stay. The breakfast was good, I am not sure why people are complaining, it's the classic buffet-style hotel breakfast and the workers were really pleasant. They made us fresh scrambled eggs and coffee every single morning. They also have a souvenir shop! They have a huge parking lot and the location is perfect! It's on a hill, keep that in mind if you have difficulty with walking up the stairs.

Penzion Kaps offers rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi and free parking just 150 metres from Lake Bled. Cable TV is provided in all units. The staff was more than great - Polite, inviting, helpful. The location of the Penzion is excellent - just few minutes of walking to the lake shore - the castle was visible from the room window. Great balcony at the floor. Parking lane available. The breakfast is more than enough - nothing super special but still enough varieties and rich. Coffee, tea, juice available in the room as a compliment. Umbrellas available for the guests. Strongly recommend.

Located right on the coast of Bled Lake, Hotel Starkl - Heritage & Unique is a small family-run property that provides unique views of the lake. Location, restaurant, breakfast, staff and facilities were all excellent. Renovation of the property is exceptional. Can't wait to return as soon as possible.

Αυτό το ξενοδοχείο 4 αστέρων άνοιξε για πρώτη φορά το 1906 και άνοιξε τον Απρίλιο του 2009 μετά από εκτεταμένες εργασίες ανακαίνισης. Απέχει μόλις 200μ. Excellent vintage property! Very beautiful and well maintained. The location is one of the best to get a great view of the island in Lake Bled. The spa facilities are top notch! The restaurant prepares world class local delicacies and serves them Michelin style. Very courteous front desk and restaurant staff. Regret staying for just 1 day. Will definitely come back next time.
