We loved it everything about applebees! Thang and his family took very good care of us, the rooms were spacy and nice (we picked mountain view, absolutely beautiful), breakfast was tasty, price/value was amazing, we could rent bicycles and scooters, he helped us with the tours and tickets, location was great, and we even got picked up and driven back to the bus. On top of it all, we really loved the cute residents of the house - 3 year old hanna - sorry for the spelling - and lovely dog mom lou and her two puppies. Thanks Thang & family, we are very grateful for the stay!!

Everything is awesome. They welcomed us like family and treated as family. We enjoyed staying. Long arranged us pickup, drops, cave visits and all necessary information.
Location was great.

This is one of the reasons why I extended my stay in Phong Nha, my host Yen and her family were nothing but wonderful. I purposely chose to stay in this area for peace and being close to nature. Views from my room are amazing, waking up to mountain landscapes and having quiet mornings by the riverside. Such genuine hospitality and I couldn't thank Yen enough, she made sure I was relaxed until my night bus ride to Hanoi. I will definitely come back with my partner and stay here again! :)

The lake was gorgeous and my family really liked the canoes. It was relaxing and peaceful. The room we stayed in was really nice, you could sit out and look at the lake. Make sure you book a villa, the other rooms are old and need updating (we swapped rooms).
The staff were lovely and super helpful. We did a local farm visit which we all loved, my kids got to ride a water buffalo and hang with heaps of ducks and it was supporting the locals which I love.
