The cottage is pristine, and includes everything you need for your stay. The tastefully styled farmhouse unit is charming, and seamlessly integrates with all of its modern necessities. The farm is immaculate and the manicured rolling lawns and exquisite gardens are very well kept. The bed is really comfortable and there is a fan for hotter nights, and a wood stove fireplace for those cosy cooler evenings. There is a braai facility and a private garden for each unit, which is such a nice touch, and the cottages are cleaned daily. Upper House Guesthouse bevindt zich in Clarens, op 25 km van Nationaal park Golden Gate Hoogland en 2,5 km van Clarens Golf & Leisure Estate, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi en gratis... Stacey warmly welcomed me to Upper House. I booked months in advance in anticipation of the Clarens Arts Festival. It was a fantastic location and beautifully decorated room. The breakfast was scrumptious and changed daily. Plenty of hot water for showering. The TV had all of the DSTV channels. Mini-fridge available in the room as well. There was a space heater and electric blankets to keep warm with at night. Stacey and the staff were so helpful in directing me to Clarens from my start location and helped transport me to the correct location on the road for taxis on my way out of town heading towards Lesotho. She went out of her way to make me feel welcomed and ensured I enjoyed my stay. Would absolutely stay again, Clarens is worth revisiting!

Located a 14-minute drive from Clarens, Kiara Lodge is set amongst the Maluti Mountains and offers a heated indoor pool, a spa and wellness centre and a children’s playground. I loved the cleanliness of the facility and it is equipped with everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend it to the families
