Breakfast was great as was the location and facilities although I did not get to experience much. Checked in, in the afternoon and left for a function at 18h00. Back at midnight and out before 10h00. Rates are on the less affordable side for the standard South African, although I do understand this is peak season.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Boschendal Farm Estate is located in Simondium, a 10-minute drive from Franschhoek. Free WiFi access is available. Very nice cottages. People are very friendly.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. We have been on multiple safaris throughout 12 years in both Eastern and Western Cape. This one was by far the best value. We have never seen a Cheetah that close. Our ranger Tim was exceptional and the restaurant had the best food. The villa was gorgeous and clean. The swimming pools as well. We will be back!

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. Charming place, very clean. The hosts are great, everything was perfect. Highly recommend it!

The staff were incredible, their attention to detail and customer service is out of this world! The spa swimming pool was wonderful, the rooms lavish and the views stellar. The breakfast was delicious too. This will be our spot from now on!
