The staff were lovely. The food was some of the best we've had so far in 2 weeks across Japan staying at similar priced Onsens. The baths were amazing. The tech in the Onsen uses your mobile phone for QR code access to the property, to contact staff and to see when the baths were available - it was very convenient.

The hotel was very thoughtful, recommending nearby attractions and providing the dinner kaiseki menu with Chinese descriptions. They also specially prepared red bean rice and warm blessings for birthday guests. Many thanks to every staff member of the hotel.

We had a beautiful room which had been renovated recently. Gorgeous windows and light, and one of the best showers I’ve ever experienced! Such friendly and helpful people working there.

Great location and nice and clean Japanese looking bedroom. The included Japanese style breakfast was really nice. We decided also to have dinner here and it was delicious!

Best place where to stay in Matsumoto! We loved the hospitality and the delicious food. The staff was really kind and helpful in meeting our needs. Jujo Matsumoto is the perfect place for talking a break from busy Japanese cities . Really recommended!!

Excellent and affordable (compared to other Ryokan) place to sleep. Lovely rooms, three baths (man, woman, family). Book dinner with them! Such delicious food, each dish a picture to the eye. The service explains in your own language what you are eating, using the phone. So cute. You can be picked up from the station if you consult with the Ryokan (is a bit too far away to walk). In the evening you can have a drink in a cute place inside opposite the reception, which is nice because there is not very much around.

Traditional Ryokan with good location. Have been to this place two times already, 24h Onsen access, spacious rooms, and I really recommend the japanese breakfast & Kaiseki style Dinner! Tyler is a great and very helpful host. See you next time :)
