If you’re ready to immerse yourself in traditional Japanese, stay here. The room was simple but perfect for what we needed. The shower is an onsen. The location is about a 12 min walk from Iwatake resort and there is a bus stop about 20m from the hotel.

Huge, traditional room, with tatami mats, dinning space and private bathroom. Great onsen we had to ourselves. Traditional Japanese breakfast was big and very tasty. Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, but for us it was a plus.

The perfect stop-off after crossing the Alpine Route from Toyama. Baggage-forwarding service from Toyama delivers directly to hotel. Spotlessly clean, located close to forest, very tranquil - spa hotel with own onsen - all traditionally Japanese, so if you want the Japanese experience, not the 'standard western hotel' experience, this is perfect.
