Lovely cabin tucked away from the city hustle. The drive up was incredibly scenic, with views of the mountains and the valleys. Mr. Kawamura and his daughter, Chiyoko were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food prepared was delicious, made with fresh local ingredients and served with generous portions. The firewood bath was a great way to unwind after day of walking and exploring.

瑠璃浜 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 5 km of Manai Shrine and 5.2 km of Motoise Kono Shrine.

It is a small cosy hotel - really special and quiet after busy days spent in Kyoto. Our room was simply perfect - 2nd floor corner room with a huge balcony and windows overlooking the bridge and bay. Our children were next door in a smaller but equally lovely space. The staff were completely sweet and helpful. I wish we could have spent another night! 🙏🏼

It’s quite near the train station (about 15 mins walk). I But the best part is, it’s just opposite the Amanohashidate cable car station which is very convenient. There’s a bus that goes to Ine Bay which is just opposite the hotel, though the journey is far. The dinner & breakfast were great. Perhaps the hotel should provide a warmer link away to the restaurant which is located outside the hotel, it’s very cold walking the link way during winter. The Onsen is great but water is very hot. The amenities provided in the Onsen is more than sufficient. Price wise is abit to the high side. The view of the river in the room was pleasant and there’s a open walk way at the back of the hotel that link to the river. Will consider staying again if there is an opportunity.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the main photo , it looks like a shed and I was nervous, but this hotel really is lovely! The photo is of the covered entrance with a function room, the main hotel is behind that facing the tranquil ocean! Our room was gorgeous and waking up to the sound of the gentle waves was glorious. The beds were very comfortable and the room was incredibly spacious. The hot spring was lovely too! Wished we’d stayed longer.

Hotel Kitanoya offers rooms with ocean views just a 6-minute walk from Amanohashidate Train Station. It boasts hot-spring baths and a Japanese restaurant.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Or room had a sea view and a Japanese sitting area although we had Western Style beds. We used the private onsen which was lovely. Everything was very clean and nicely prepared. 10 minutes walk from Amanohashidate station.

Seikiro has served guests for 320 years and is a registered cultural landmark.
