Ito Ryokan is exactly what I was looking for. The experience of sleeping in a traditional Japanese inn was amazing. They are extremely kind and the attention they give to their guests is spectacular. Located in Tokyo it's convenient for travellers that want to escape a little from the buildings of a busy big city and yet be able to enjoy what the city has to offer. The staff were great as well, I got to have a chat with a lovely lady that told me about the inn story and exchange some stories about my own country and the experience I'd had in japan and some more inside from Japanese culture from a native. I'd strongly recommend this place if you're visiting Japan.

Great location next to a small park where locals were having their hanami blossom parties. Comfy futons . Excellent support from staff and little touches like snacks, tea, toothbrush etc in the rooms.

The hotel was lovely and clean, staff were very accommodating and so sweet. It’s situated in a quiet part of Tokyo which was much needed after a long flight and busy days. Great access to so many great food places and so much to see! Short walk (20ish minutes) from Tokyo station so close to so many things to do! The picture is a view from the balcony

A good size room with sufficient facilities. We only brought 1 mid-size suitcase to share but the room has sufficient space to accommodate at least another 2 huge suitcases. The hotel lobby is quite small but they do offer free coffee, and take your own amenities kit. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.

Day Nice Hotel Tokyo is just a 4-minute walk from the nearest station, Kiba Station. Free luggage storage is available and there is a 24-hour front desk.

The location was great, with several tube stations nearby. The property was really nice, the room is spacious and comes with mini fridge inside the room. They give you tooth brush when checking in (in case you forgot yours) and they have hairdryers for after the shower. It was nice to see that male and female showers are separate - and same for the toilets.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They know English and are willing to help you with anything. They clean the room and give you new towels every day. The toilet is the normal western one, not the Japanese futuristic one but that's ok. The futons are very comfortable. The train station is very close and they have a convenient store close by.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.
