Huge room, beautiful view, and of course, the Sauna in the room which can be enjoyed anytime. The staff are friendly! Great breakfast with Japanese & Finnish style. Nice thermal spring inside & outside. There is also instruction about how to enjoy the most out of it. The hotel is easy to find, there are plenty of parking spots. Within a couple of minutes walk there are some nice restaurants and convenience store.

We spend wonderful 4 nights at the property. The obaasan who runs the place was very helpful and kind towards us. Even though we didn’t have common language the communication was easy through translation app. Even though the weather was almost zero degrees at night the room was warm. Shared spaces were clean. We really enjoyed the hot bath every night before bed. Walking distance there are couple restaurants and 7Eleven. Good base for travelling through Five Lakes area.

The caretaker was friendly and helpful, I accidentally eat someone breakfast thinking that it was mine, she help me with it and just have me pay and she make another for the other guest. Also the place was really comfortable to stay, The location was really great! Great place to take a photo and seeing Mount Fuji. Bath was also really great!

We had an exceptional stay at Konohanakan! The staff are brilliant and very attentive; we felt very well taken care of during our entire stay. The language barrier is no issue as we were able to communicate easily using Google translate when needed. The entire apartment is sparkling clean and beautifully presented with great amenities. The view of Mt. Fuji is breathtaking and the private onsen was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. We visited Oshino Hakkai (the "Eight Seas of Oshino") in the local area which is well worth a visit. It is only about a 20 minute walk from the ryokan. We had dinner and breakfast included in our stay which was a huge highlight for us! The food was delicious and wonderfully presented. Everything about our stay was impressive, and we can't wait to come back.

Very kind host. I had a wonderful time, despite arriving late due to transportation issues. You can wartch Mt. Fuji right from your room. Price-wise, it's a good option for solo travelers, as you can reserve a 2-person room for half price (at least when i was staying)

The room was very comfortable and also very clean. I appreciated that there was some little booklet with recommendations about where to get a nice view of Mt. Fuji, restaurants, etc. I also checked out one of the both spots and got a very nice view. Bicycles are also provided, which are very convenient to get around here. I usually don't ride bicycles, but I loved doing it here in this area. Being able to book the onsen for yourself, so you get about 1 hour to relax is also a very nice experience.
