The hotel is very close to the two famous onsen. The dinner and breakfast are rich and traditional.

Bathrooms are shared, but each room has a private toilet. A great Ryokan experience. Located in a quiet place on a hill with a nice view. Very polite and helpful staff. The kayseki dinner was fantastic: long, various and overall impressing. We also greatly enjoyed the onsens which are very authentic with outside pools. We were surprised to attend the onsens all alone though there were quire many people staying the same night with us. Unforgettably experience. In addition, a private bath is available for couples as well, we enjoyed it, too. We took a massage course and I can definitely recommend it as well. All the prices for additional services are super reasonable.
