The hotel hosted many events for tourists to get to know japanese culture, a very good thing for someone that hasn't organized any such activity by themselves.

Perfect for unwinding after busy days of sightseeing and crowds. The bath does wonders for tired legs from walking. The room is stocked with an assortment of free drinks and traditional snacks are provided in the lobby. The location is great, only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station and close to other public transport. We walked to most of the main attractions. The staff was very helpful and everyone spoke very good English so it was easy to communicate. Our breakfast was cooked with care each morning, making it a great start of each day. We would definitely come back!
