Ryokan Yamanami is gelegen in Yufu, op 48 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Beautiful Ryokan in the mountains, away from the crowded center of Yufuin but still just few minutes walking from there. We booked the annex accommodation with private onsen, the room was amazing and just 30 sec from main building for even more intimacy. The staff is super kind and full of attention for us, they delivered my luggage to my room once it has been delivered and they were always helpful with anything and always smiling. They even offered to take a picture of us at the check out before we left on their beautiful terrace. The restaurant where we have the breakfast is small so you can enjoy quietly your delicious traditional Japanese breakfast, we had 2 different breakfast for for 2 days we stayed. And aln of it just in front of the wonderful view of Yufu mountain.

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. • Onsen : The best I've tried so far (together with Gero). Has a really nice smell (unlike Beppu lol) and the temperature is perfect. There are also many different separate onsen baths which you can have for yourself for 1 hour if you ask. • Food : Overall great, standard Kaiseki meal (served in a dining room where each room is separated by a small movable wooden wall) • Staff : Very helpful and gave me the option to opt out of my room and go for a smaller one (cheaper) since my friend cancelled last moment and I ended up alone. • Location : As you can imagine, a great natural onsen is often in the countryside, you do have a bus that goes from Aso station (Kumamoto) all the way to Hakata station (Fukuoka) which stops by Kurokawa which is helpful. The ryokan's staff also pick you up at the bus stop if you inform them of your arrival time.

BeppuOnsen Hotel Sansenkaku bevindt zich op 20 km van Oita Bank Dome en 8 minuten lopen van station Beppu, en heeft kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer in Beppu. The hotel lobby is beautiful and cheerful. The front desk staff changed the channel on the lobby wide screen television, so we could watch the American World Series! They also let us know the channel to access the game on our room televisions. The rooms were small but enough for us to relax in and with a view of the ocean. Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed some of the daring combinations.

別府鉄輪温泉 萬力屋manrikiya is gelegen in Beppu, op 26 km van Crasus Dome Oita, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Very nice staff, amazing experience, opportunity to do an onsen in privacy.

徳の宿 ふぶ庵 is gelegen in Beppu, op 24 km van Oita Bank Dome en 4,1 km van station Beppu, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis privéparkeren. Never have I ever seen a 2 storey villa with 2 onsens in Japan - it was so relaxing !! Only downside is that it’s far from the main town area - better with a car!

日本旅館 器 別府鉄輪 nihonryokan utsuwa beppukannnawa ligt in Beppu, op 26 km van Oita Bank Dome en 5,3 km van station Beppu, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en gratis... Amazing property and terrific value for money. The room we stayed was seperate from the main building (a 2’ walk away) had an onsen bath + outdoor onsen areas and was simply stunning. Such a luxurious feel! You’re own private spa. Good location as well - walkable distance from the sights. (Hells of Beppu etc..) Would highly recommend.

Wonderful modern Ryokan, excellent food, and lovely staff! The private onsen is amazing, and the garden is so beautiful. Definitely a recommendation if you are looking for a relaxing, comforting, and memorable experience Japan!

Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA ligt in Beppu, op 26 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt uitzicht op de stad. After staying in various hotels in Japan, I got to stay in Beppu Hiromiya for a night, and woa, what a difference it made. Miho, the host, is kind and sweet beyond words. She welcomes you with the warmth of a friend and the care of a grandma. Though she doesn’t speak English fluently, she does her best to provide all the helpful information about what to do in the area. A trip to a foreign country would not be complete without meeting kind and genuine locals. Meeting Miho has made my trip to Japan complete. Other highlights of staying in Hiromiya: - Near bus station and tourist information office. When you arrive at Beppu station, take a bus from station 3 and it will take you very close to the place. - Short walk from here to the best three hells of Beppu. Though it’s popular to see all 7 hells, I don’t think it’s necessary. Better to spend more time in less locations. - The steam on this road is beautiful during the day and at night. - Kannawa Hot Spring is next door which offers a very unique herbal steam experience that detox your whole body. You can get a discount ticket from Hiromiya. - There’s a small onsen on site if you don’t want to go out - Room is spacious and traditional

Akarinoyado Togetsu is gelegen in Beppu, op 26 km van Oita Bank Dome, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. Very good hotel with excellent public spa facility. Food was particularly good. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant.
