An absolutely wonderful place to stay to experience a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The breakfasts were varied each day and beautifully presented. The fact that the Ryokan is located at the start of the Zenkoji temple complex made it even better. It was only 3km from the train station so okay walking without bags. The advantage is because of its position you could walk just a few meters to pick up a taxi to the station which only cost 1200Y.

At the ryokan, every unit comes with a tatami. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the ryokan also have free WiFi. At the ryokan, the units include bed linen and towels. Wonderful facility and location. Very gracious staff.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Everything was beautiful, my family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Mitsubikiya. Although we missed the opportunity to dine with you this time, we look forward to experiencing it on our next visit.

The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 20 km from Zenkoji Temple. The ryokan also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. This was the place I liked the most during my entire 2 months stay in Japan. This was the place I felt most welcomed and taken care of. This was the place I had the opportunity to witness the best omotenashi I had in Japan. I stayed for three nights during snowy winter at Shiroganeya and could easily stay longer. Maki and her mother paid attention to every detail. Very convenient area to use as a base for exploring the area, delicious food prepared by Maki's mother, lovely atmosphere, beautiful and traditional house full of family history. I highly recommend people staying here for exploring Togakushi area. I will definitely come back and staying again. I hope next time during autumn. Thank you very much Maki!

The accommodation offers a hot spring bath, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. We loved everything about this hotel. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the Onsen was wonderful. The location was good and the staff welcoming. A delicious breakfast was served

Everyone is very kind, gentle and proactive. They gave us a ride to and from the train station. That's an important point considering the distance from downtown. We had both meals, breakfast and dinner, with them. All we tasted was fantastic. The possibility to turn the public bath into a private Onsen when there isn't someone using it, it's another differential. The futons was soft and we had a good night sleeping. The heating in our room was the right way too. Surely we'll come back.
