This is our first time in Japan and we landed straight for 4 nights in this great hotel. You get the full japanese experience when you land including traditional Japanese breakfasts and dinners, the dinners are amazing so take the half board. The rooms are big, beautiful and facilitated and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. It is located about 15 minutes by train outside of Kyoto but if you like to leave the crowds behind at night it's worth the commute.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. I liked how friendly the staff was and how many things there were to do at the facility! We did onsen (in our room and the public onsen), walked around the grounds, did karaoke, and enjoyed the multi course dinner!

I loved every details of this hotel, food, hot spring, service and it's room. We spent entire day in the hotel and could not get enough. The dinner and breakfast is not cheap but definitely worth a try, the most delicate food I have in Japan during this journey.

Το Dantokan Kikunoya απέχει 5 λεπτά οδικώς από το σταθμό JR Ogoto Onsen και διαθέτει ιαματικά λουτρά. Παρέχεται δωρεάν υπηρεσία παραλαβής από το σταθμό κατόπιν αιτήματος εκ των προτέρων. The staff here are incredible. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Incredible ryokan experience! We loved the tranquil scenery which overlooked Lake Biwa. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional and traditional. We stayed two nights and the meals were never repeated. We loved the in room outdoor onsen overlooking the lake and the massage chair was a nice touch. A very relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly and really tried to speak English to us. We had no communication barriers. Will definitely return and highly recommend this ryokan. Very memorable experience.

Το 長浜城下 町屋ホテル 和乃リトリートひといき είναι σε Nagahama, σε απόσταση 14 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Κάστρο Hikone και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, βεράντα και μπαρ. This was one of the best and aesthetically pleasing stays in my life up to this point. The tastefulness of the room aswell as the whole hotel was truly amazing. The minute I stepped in I knew I had to write something here. The staff also was immensly polite and friendly.

Το KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone παρέχει δωμάτια σε Hikone, σε απόσταση 2,7 χλμ και 6 χλμ από τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος Κάστρο Hikone και Σταθμός Maibara, αντίστοιχα. I liked the quiet location, the view of Lake Biwa, the friendly staff, and the access to both public and private onsen facilities.

Το Honmachi Juku βρίσκεται σε Hikone, σε απόσταση 900μ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Κάστρο Hikone και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. The homemade Japanese breakfasts were phenomenal and a very good value. Almost unbelievable. Each day was different, with a healthy balance of vegetables, proteins, and carbs (rice). Authentic, and served by a wonderful woman.

Το Kiyotaki Ryokan παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους, καθώς και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης για τους επισκέπτες που ταξιδεύουν οδικώς. Room with tatami and dinner. Defintely have the dinner, it was probably the best meal I had in Japan during my 3 week travel. My room did not have common walls with other rooms, so it was very quiet.
