It was very clean, the rooms were exceptional and the staff were more than accommodating to every need. Finally the food was exceptional, we loved every bite!

The location and standard of amenity were superb. The hotel was easily accessible by public transport, locally or to / from the airport. The hot tubs on the top floors are a delight! I had a spacious Japanese style room overlooking the beach and out to sea, perfect for my last night in Japan. Women have a choice of yukata and there are plenty of drinks available in hotel lounge, though as the season slows, they maybe need.more attention to maintain supply. The evening buffet was diverse, plentiful, delicious and very welcome since there was nowhere locally for a snack or lunch. I had great help from a member of staff who spoke excellent English and found and organised a very straightforward (but not obvious) solution for getting me to the airport. Other staff either didn't know about it or couldn't explain and my Japanese wasn't nearly good enough to work it out.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless, equipped with everything we needed (even a power strip!). A great choice for those who want to experience sleeping on futons. Excellent value for money — both breakfast and dinner were included, and the dinners were beautifully prepared and varied each day. The onsen was also very enjoyable and spacious. Overall, a truly pleasant and relaxing stay.

Bit outdated but that’s exactly what you’ll get in the middle of nowhere. However, staff, food and hot spring is nice and nearby river is a good place to go for BBQ in summer. If you are looking for place where the time stops, this is where you want to go.

"Wonderful stay! The traditional Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious. The onsen is located in a beautiful natural setting, very relaxing and authentic. The staff, although not very fluent in English, were incredibly kind, communicative, and efficient. Everything was perfect – highly recommended!
