Our traditional style room was very nice and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was well trained, professional, and polite. We have been picked up at the bus station and brought to the hotel on arrival, as well on our way back. We could enjoy the public and private onsen as well which as a very nice experience, especially seeing Mt. Fuji from the private onsen as a small family. The kaiseki diner we had after bathing was superb, and it was an experience on it's own. Even we only spent one night there, we could relax and wind down. We opted to take the cable car nearby to see Mt. Fuji, and rented some bikes to cycle around the other day before we departed from the town.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. Everything was great. Best hotel in our trip. Staffs was very friendly and helpful. Food (breakfast and dinner) in Japanese course is the best. Onsen was great.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. I can’t even believe this place. Room is good for 4 people. You basically have a house to yourself. There is a private onsen with Fuji views. The views of Fuji in my living room and dining room are crazy too — amazing!! Also, everything is very well thought-out!! Omakase dinner and breakfast are chef’s kiss ✨ Staff is super helpful — they even helped map out my route from the ryokan to Osaka. The floors are heated — the water is never cold (I went in winter). You even have a little garden to yourself with a table and chairs outside so you can look at Fuji while drinking tea. But I would recommend that in Spring lol as it’s super cold in winter outside.

The food is delicious, probably the best I ate in Japan. The staff is very nice.

Old school vibe but the place has charm overall this place is wonderful. Great views of Mt Fuji and the lake. The staff and owner are incredible.

At the ryokan, each unit has a tatami. Some accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. The units are equipped with heating facilities. It was unique, well looked after the staff were lovely. The food was amazing too.

Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. The owner/manager is very very friendly. He picked us up at the station and brought us back the last day. He also insisted to carry our luggage. We took the Japanese Style Room with Mt. Fuji view, and we had a greta time experiencing the traditional Japanese way of living. The facilities have their own Onsen which was a highlight, especially because of the cold weather. The location is good and a Bus Station is few meters away.

The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The view is supposed to be wonderful when the weather is nice and you can see the Mt Fuji from the room. The staff were super welcome and even offered to drop me off at the Kawaguchiko station after the check out. Onsen was also divine. I can go on and on…I’ll def come back next time!
