It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. Excellent Onsen, staff and meals (breakfast and dinner). Our host Sara was very nice to make us feel welcome. The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. Free station pick-up is convenient. The room and public onsen bath were very clean and with fantastic view. Sleepling in the futons on tatami was an interesting experience like in Doraemon and Chibi maruko-chan! It was comfortable, We got a very good rest. We were hosted by a lady from Vietnam, who was kind, attentive and helpful. She clearly introduced each dish during the meal and there was no problem in English communication. The food part was extremely amazing! The dinner and breakfast were very rich and delicious. We fully tasted the flavor of the ingredients and felt the chef's intention👍 This visit was perfect and I will definitely come again.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. Our stay in Oshino was a truly unique experience and memory we will cherish forever. The house was beautiful and luxurious, especially the gorgeous zen garden and onsen hot bath. What really blew us away though was the food. We went for dinner and breakfast during our stay and the experience was incredible. There was an amazing array of beautifully prepared Japanese dishes lovingly served to us. All of it was delicious and felt like a fine dining experience from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and attentive throughout our stay and even helped us to book a taxi to our next destination. Oshino itself was a beautiful place which felt incredibly calm and peaceful. The view of mount fuji from our bedroom window was spectacular and it was a delight to watch the scenes change so quickly with the weather from such luxurious comfort.

At the ryokan, each unit has a tatami. Some accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Food was excellent, sophisticated while using simple and fresh local ingredients, and beautifully presented! The baths were very pleasant with an amazing view on their garden (very relaxing). Staff was incredibly helpful and polite (they even helped us figure out the trains to Kyoto and called us a cab). It's located very close to the highway bus stop coming from Tokyo (15min walk), as well as near the temples. We also really enjoyed the kimono experience, Overall, it was a very special moment and the highlight of our trip.

Even though there was a language barrier, the owners were extremely welcoming, kind and made us feel at home :) Breakfast was yummy! Conveniently located across Lawson and there are restaurants around the property for dinner in the evening as well. Wished we stayed longer!
