We had a such a lovely stay at this beautiful little house. It had everything we needed, was very clean, modern and comfortable and Sarene was such a lovely host - even checking in with us when we had accidentally left some stuff in the fridge and offering to keep it if we wanted to pick it up. The location was close to town and wonderfully quiet. A perfect space to relax and explore from!

The rooms are quirky, huge, and very very comfortable and the welcome box with treats and breakfast makings was a lovely unexpected surprise. The meals at the restaurant were excellent, and it was so nice to just step across the courtyard and into bed.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Really appreciated the extras in the kitchen. I had forgotten to pack chai teabags and to my surprise they had the very brand I use! Other items also, including, sauces, cooking oil, milk and even a small loaf of bread. Fun collection of books by the bed too. Great location for the q train, and sun sets by the lake were lovely. Highly recommend.

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The decor was beautiful and the little touches in the bathroom and kitchen were nicely thought out and of higher quality than most hotels. Communication with the pre-arrival information was very clear and helpful.

The house has lots of natural light and fresh air , clean and spacious with large dinning room, kitchen and front yard for parking . BBQ area is designed conveniently next to 2 large sinks, a big fridge and long table with night light and even the ceiling fan nearby to sit and enjoy BBQ. The kitchen area has lots of storage space for all the food needed for large family gathering.

I thought the room in entering it for the first time was clean and embracing. I felt like I was on a holiday with the colour scheme in the room, a couch, two beds, big bathroom and nice kitchen.

The Lake and Railway Guesthouse was perfect for our needs. Roomy enough for 2 people with comfortable furniture and beds and a kitchenette more than ample for our needs. Although we didn't actually meet our hosts, they promptly replied to any messages we sent before our stay and checked everything was ok during our stay. No hesitation to recommend this lovely place, especially if you are planning to go on the Q train, which is only a couple of minutes walk away

There was a surprising amount of space and light throughout the room, which was really a whole unit! There were some very thoughtful touches apparent in terms of kitchen utensils and elegant touches on the leather couch. The parking is very convenient by the door too. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

The room was clean and spacious. The open plan area was divided neatly into bedroom, living room and kitchen/dining, with a private bathroom adjoining. The kitchen had a kettle, microwave, fridge and toaster. The beds were comfy and there were spare blankets if needed. There was a pool outside with some deck chairs - it was too cold to use them when we stayed there, but would be great in summer. In terms of location, the motel is very close to a service station and a short drive away from beaches, restaurants and other attractions.

The room plus bathroom and kitchen were spotless. The bed a tad springy, but I slept well. Very quiet surroundings considering that it was near a main road.

Our room was perfect for our short break on the Bellarine. The room was larger than we thought it would be with plenty of space for two. The ensuite was spacious and well-appointed. The separate kitchen area was a definite plus. We liked the pool and outdoor areas and the proximity to the local lake for walks.
