We had to book this accommodation late because a previous booking cancelled two days before. They did us a big favour because we certainly ended up in a better location. This is a suite in a private house and the host, Yelen, was very welcoming. We had a car so we could get to anywhere we needed to go. Lots of deer on the footpath each day. We had a beautiful balcony that overlooked Nanaimo. Highly recommend.

This place is absolutely stunning, with unreal ocean and Mountain View’s. It feels peaceful the moment you arrive, quiet, scenic, and really well looked after. The location is great too, with beautiful hiking trails nearby and easy access to Nanaimo’s restaurants, cafés, and shops. Inside, the space is bright, comfortable, and just a genuinely lovely place to hang out. The kitchen has everything you need if you’d rather cook, and eating on the balcony with those views is such a treat. It’s calm, beautiful, and honestly just a wonderful place to stay.

A truly lovely place that became the perfect nest for our fall weekend in Nanaimo! We came for a quiet little getaway and the apartment exceeded every expectation. The location is great, the space feels cosy and calming, and the overall comfort is on another level. Arrival was super smooth and everything was exactly as promised. What impressed us most was the attention to detail. Everything felt carefully thought through, from the welcome message on the board and the clear guest book, to the small gifts on the table, the selection of tea and coffee, the ice cream waiting in the freezer, and even the beer in the fridge... Every amenity was prepared with such care that we instantly felt disconnected from everyday life and genuinely looked after. The jacuzzi was perfect too, especially when the weather turned a bit glum. It made the whole experience feel even more peaceful and restorative. We loved using every part of the space and left feeling grateful and refreshed. We would absolutely come back if we get the chance. Bayview, thank you for creating a space that made our weekend feel so special.

Tea and coffee provided as well as snacks for the night and morning. Towels, robes and bathroom necessities were all available and the bed was very comfortable. The host did exactly what he needed to do and then let us have our space, there isn’t much I would really change honestly. We spent one night there and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Water bottles and mini chocolates were also provided.

WE got an upgrade to the cottage which was just wonderful. Wish we could have stayed for longer. The cottage was 3 bedroom with full kitchen & laundry. Very nicely renovated. We didn't hear any traffic in our bedrooms. From what we saw of the other rooms, they were spacious & very nicely done.

We have fantastic experience. The room was spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. Although the bathroom and kitchen were shared with other guests, we were fortunate to have the space to ourselves during our stay. The owner was exceptionally nice and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped for two people, making it easy to prepare our meals. The room had a comfortable bed and good wifi which added to our comfort. I also appreciated having a separate entrance, which offered additional privacy and convenience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay.

Nice small older hotel/motel style building with two floors and external stairs. We stayed in the King view suite and it was very nice. Full kitchen, living room with a fireplace, and a comfy king bed in the bedroom. The view is of the channel.
