After a short walk from the train station I was welcomed to this spotless apartment. It has everything you need/expect from this type of a place along with a bunch of stuff that just makes it feel like home, for example; a full bookcase of boardgames, a huge table to play and candles and matches! Even though the bed was a bit soft for my taste it had the nicest duvet I think I have ever slept with. It was so fluffy!! I am always a bit stressed when I stay at places where the hosts place leads directly into my area (no door that I can lock from my side between us) but the man was just so nice that I didn’t worry about it! He also told me about it so there was nothing sneaky about it!

A magic place in the middle of country side and nature. The owner is a kind people and he let us free to arrive without any time. The cottage is perfect. You can find all you need to stay well included cooking accessories and a barbecue outside. 15min by car and you are in Silkeborg where you can sail on a steam boat or rent canoes on the lake. But you can rent bike and have a ride in the country or in cycle paths. 45min by car and you are in Billund area with airport and Legoland park. But the best moment is come back to the cottage and breath the nature. One morning 3 wild rabbits arrive during our breakfast...

I booked the place basically last moment and I couldn't be more happy to find out later that it was located near the village in plaine nature, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. Hills with beautiful horses on it is the first thing you see from the window in the morning. With a lovely forest around and some ponds nearby, all together make it a truly unique place to rest. The room had a very comfy bed and in the hall there was some basic kitchen facility tu use. The host and her daughter were very nice too. I would love to come back there again!

The accommodation was excellent. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and wonderfully spacious. The price for the stay was absolutely exceptional. Nice, quiet location. Just a short walk from the lake. Parking is on the street, but the street is very quiet, so parking is no problem at all. I can only recommend it to everyone – 5 stars out of 5. Communication with the accommodation was absolutely excellent. There was no problem with an earlier check-in or a later check-out. I highly recommend it to everyone.
