The location was great for getting to the Eurotunnel for an early start the next day. It was a countryside location and really lovely. The property was a great space for a one night stay for us as a family. We were greeted by the owners, and they were very attentive. Everything you need kitchen wise and a great shared garden and pool for the children to play in. Really loved it.

Newly converted apartment with nice equipment. The shower was excellent and the sofa bed was more comfortable than many, especially if one's feet are at the sofa end. The WC is hidden in an alcove however it doesn't have a door which some people might prefer. The fridge would be easier to use if it's door hinges were swapped to the other side. The area was urban but quiet although you may want to shut the back window if you don't want to hear the local early morning cockerel calling!

Our stay in Calais was completely unexpected. We had a last-minute change in plans and ended up booking with Mathilde - and we’re so glad we did! Mathilde was warm and welcoming from the start - and she loves pets which was a plus. Even when we realized we had forgotten to include an extra guest in our booking, she handled it with kindness and understanding. 😊 The apartment itself was beautiful. The location was quiet yet convenient, perfect for a short stay. We truly appreciated Mathilde’s hospitality and generosity. TheBreak is a gem, and we would gladly stay again! Merci Mathilde 😁

    The property is absolutely beautiful! So nicely decorated and clean, smells amazing. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, big fridge, all sorts of pots and pans etc. Bathroom fully equipped etc. Loads of space for a big family. Hosts were very kind, gave us advice of where we could eat dinner, the husband offered to drive us to a takeaway nearby. Breakfast was offered for 5£ per person which is a good price. There is also a bakery nearby with delicious croissants. Location is quiet, feels secure and cozy. Easily accessible.

    The host was very friendly and hospitable. We were able to use the kitchen facilities which is very well equipped. Very quiet, ideal for a good night sleep. Close to the Channel tunnel which was what we see after.

    Immaculately kept B&B, with stylish furnishings and tasteful decor. Fully equipped kitchen for sole use of guests much appreciated after a long drive. Very friendly welcome from Cindy, who is the perfect host. Generous breakfast, top quality, as is everything about Les Flaquettes. Highly recommended.

    Another overnight stay at our favourite B&B. Beautiful room, decorated and furnished with taste, and impeccably clean. Beds very comfy. Top quality ingredients for breakfast. If you want to eat in, there is a fully equipped kitchen for sole use of the guests. We usually take a baguette, cheese and a bottle of red, makes a nice start to the holiday.
