The location it's great,very quiet, we saw hares, a fox and lots of birds, even a Robin The host was very very friendly, explained everything in detail, he even was waiting for us with a boiled kettle, fresh flowers around the lodge.The lodge it's equipped with everything you need!!Spotless clean!!

The cottage was so lovely and warm and very modern. It had everything u needed . The host was very attentive and left us milk and cookies for us when we. Arrived. Can't fault him or the cottage. Brilliant wee country pub across the road,food was to dye for was the best pub food I've had been told it's a new chef . Would love to go back to the cottage and the friendly staff at the pub . A very happy weekend we had . It was a early Xmas present for my girlfriend we enjoyed it very much .

Beautiful home with all the facilities you could possibly need. Lovely enclosed garden. Excellent for children and dogs (even had a wendy house/den and child's picnic table). Central location with easy access to Wharton Park and the city centre. Clean and comfortable with cosy additional soft furnishings. Childrens' cutlery and plastic dishes were appreciated.

    Lovely room. Comfy bed and a separate room with large TV including streaming. Sofa and table as well as a kitchen. Breakfast basket in our room was bread, Croissant, Pan aux Chocolate, boxes of cereals. Fridge also provided with butter, jam and marmalade. Toaster as well as cutlery. Lots of different sizes of towels and lovely scented smellies in the bathroom. Lovely host spoke to us both on arrival and on leaving. Very kind and attentive.

    Good location with easy parking. Quirky old house. Spacious 2 roomed apartment on 1st floor with everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Fabulous value for money. Takes about 45 mins to walk into Durham from Bearpark but it's on a bus route if you don't want to walk that far! Bread, milk, butter, jam, marmalade, cereals, croissants, porridge and tea/coffee all provided in the kitchen area to make your own breakfast.

    It was very fresh looking. Tv was smart tv so could get lots of different channels and even sign onto bbci player. Kitchen was well equipped and nice and bright. It was all very clean. Easy to get to places from as we had a car.

    As soon as I walked In I got a warm family home ,very modern and clean in a great location. The kitchen has everything you could need for a self catering stay, and extra special touch of a welcome beer. I was very comfortable staying here and will 100% return when I'm back in the northeast
