Incredibly friendly staff. Will help you with anything you need, even when you don't necessarily ask for it. While cooking, we where opening a can of diced tomatoes with a pocket knife, and the lady saw us struggle and gave us a can opener. Little things like that really warmed out hearts. The room itself is nice. On the smaller side, but since there's a big communal area you won't need much space. The kitchen was also nice. They've got pretty much all you should need. Once again it's the communal living room adjacent to it that did it for us. Towels and soap included, and there's a tv in the room (if you'd ever want to use it). Breakfast is 't included, can be ordered. It was tasty and filling, but a little more expensive than elsewhere (we paid 50Q for the biggest plate I believe).

Our stay at Lake at Sunrise Lago Atitlan was absolutely perfect! My partner and I stayed here, and it was just the right size for two. The internet was super fast, making it ideal for online work and video calls. The view was stunning—mornings by the lake were peaceful and beautiful. What truly stood out was the quiet. Unlike other places we tried, there were no barking dogs or nighttime noise, allowing for deep, restful sleep. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Exceptional value—we’d love to come back!

The cabin is located right on the bank of the lake, offering a stunning view once you leave the compound (there is a fence there for security reasons!) and the inside is cute and cosy. The kitchen equipment is slightly limited but was good enough for some tacos in front of the lake. The staff were very friendly and patient (I arrived not knowing it was cash-only, but they were trusting enough to let me go to the cash machine in my own time). Situated about 5 minutes walk from the village, it doesn't take long to reach the restaurants and bars, though is far enough to not be bothered by the noise.

    I feel bad giving this place a bad review, because the staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. The common area is also quite nice, a large open room with a small kitchen and some comfortable seating. The location is convenient, very close to the center of town. The place was mostly kept very clean, with the exception of the mold issue.

    We just spent a night here as we had a really early start the next day for a trip. The room was fine and there’s a well stocked kitchen with a big table and a sofa area. The staff are super friendly.
