We had an amazing time ar the Paddy n Canal Homestay. Robin, his two brothers and his motger were so welcoming and immediately serverd us some Chai upon arrival. During the stay they were always there to help with recommondations and information about Alappuzha. In the morning they would serve some of the best food we had in Kerala. I would definitly recommend staying here!

The boat was really nice and well maintained. Did a nice cruise across the lake and into a smaller channel. Also did some kayaking which was all organised by Jos! Thank you. Everything was hassle free and the houseboat was nicely priced.

Kalappura homestay was wonderful! Rooms are clean, excellent working shower, and AC worked well. Very friendly nabourhood susurounding the homestay. What really made this homestay great was how helpful Jose was with everything from recommendations for acccomadations on our trip to Munnar, Thekkady, and transportation also. We didn't reserve a backwater houseboat prior to coming. However, Jose was able to provide 2 unique trips for us last minute at a very reasonable price. The dinner at the homestay and breakfast served on the houseboat were very delicious meals that were also one of the highlights for us. Everything worked out great for our Kerella vacation and exceeded our expectations..

I would like to say something about the home stay .The rooms and Toilet are very clean ,and we can use also the kitchen . The property is set back from the main road so whilst it is a short walk to the beach, it is quiet and in a lovely location. Bijesh, the owner, was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating, helping to make my stay relaxing, easy and comfortable. The property itself is in a large, enclosed garden with an outside pool. My room was on the first floor and I had a large outside terrace as well as access to the kitchen. The bathroom was large, clean with good hot water supply. The bedroom itself was a good size although since it had both a large double bed and two single beds there wasn't actually much space to move around in it. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were not particularly good. Bijesh arranged for breakfast to be brought to me each morning and he was flexible on the timing for this. The wifi was excellent. There was plenty of on-site parking available.
