We had a wonderfull stay at Mijora Beachfront. The view from the room was stunning! The bathroom is amazing. Room with kitchen has everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some time at the pool and visited a lot of different beaches. The island is not touristy which we liked a lot. Location is perfect.

The house has a pleasant, traditional feel and it is very spacious. The kitchen is big and it was easy to prepare meals every day. The host was very nice and whenever we had any questions she promptly responded. The garden, as small as it is, is well taken care of and we could actually pick some ripe kumquats from the tree. The location is practical for exploring northern part of the island. It was a marvellous holiday.

We absolutely loved everything. The place is easily located close to the airport and close to a bus stop. It is SO beautiful, it is SO tasteful, SO comfortable, the view is amazing (waking up with the sound of the waves is very peaceful), the smell is very nice, it is very big, modern, the food is amazing (the different breakfast every day was very very good), and the place is very well equipped. But mostly, we have not enough words to describe how kind Maruchi has been with us. She was always there to help, bringing us things whenever we needed them. Our baby fell quite sick and we didn’t have a car at first, she proposed to drive us to the hospital, then arranged a car rental for us and then helped us as much as she could to make our days easier. We truly want to thank her from the bottom of our heart for her true kindness. Arigato!

This is simply a stunning home and an incredibly comfortable retreat on Amami. We visited in the height of summer and greatly valued the excellent A/C. A great kitchen makes self-catering a breeze; the serene tatami room (sleeps 4) is lovely and the futons and bedding were comfortable and freshly laundered. The balcony is lovely but Amami in July was too hot to want to be outside. The owners (who live next door) are lovely, great communication, very kind and friendly. They dont speak English but have a translation device. Location is great, a quiet spot just off the main trunk road and walking distance to restaurants and a big supermarket (also an easy 2 minutes by car). Good parking for a small K car or hatchback. Good wifi. We really liked the place and if we ever go back to Amami we will stay here. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.
