We had been travelling for around 9 weeks in Japan when we got to Matsue and this was exactly what we’d wanted (aside from the practicality of laundry, kitchen, it overall felt very homely/ cosy). The communication prior was excellent, and entry to home was simple, using a code that is supplied once you checked in online. Upstairs is sleeping on futons which was really comfortable for us. Hand rails on stairs, and safe at night also with (non imposing) emergency evacuation light. Kitchen renovated. Bathroom area lovely and looks out to tranquil garden lit up at night. We would love to have stayed longer, and definitely would return. Thanks to the host (we never met but they were friendly by message service)

The very friendly staff and clean and spacious house with pretty lakeview. In the morning breakfast was delivered to the house at a time you could specify upon checkin. Also the pushkart in the house to transfer your luggage from the car parking was a nice addition. Very well equiped kitchen.

The guest house and host were both amazing! It's a very nice and clean place, you have a washing machine, can take a ride with one of the bicycles and just enjoy your time in a less busy area of Japan with very friendly locals. The host himself is also really nice and made sure that I enjoy my time, helped me to get to several places and I generally had a great time with him as well. I only stayed for one night, but next time I'll definitely stay longer here!
